## Three steps to App Store monitoring

### Connect the app

Paste its App Store link on a keyword and pick the countries, in the dashboard or with one API call. The last 30 days of reviews arrive at once, free.

Once a day in every country. Stars become sentiment, and each review is tagged with what it is about: a bug report, a question, praise, a comparison.

### It reaches you

The reviews you care about go to Slack, Telegram, email, a webhook or your AI agent over MCP. You never open a store console.

Skip the plumbing

## Why Mentio instead of App Store Connect

App Store Connect shows the reviews of the apps you publish. Watching them, and anyone else’s, is what Mentio runs for you.

Building on App Store Connect

With Mentio

Access

Building on App Store Connect: App Store Connect and its API list the reviews of apps your team publishes, and no one else’s.

With Mentio: Any app’s public reviews, yours or a competitor’s, with no App Store Connect access.

History

Building on App Store Connect: Apple’s public feed keeps the newest 500 reviews per country; older ones fall off it.

With Mentio: Every review read is kept, searchable and exportable, with its version and the reply.

Triage

Building on App Store Connect: Every review in one list, sorted by date or by stars.

With Mentio: Stars read as sentiment and each review tagged: bug report, question, praise, buy intent.

Alerts

Building on App Store Connect: Polling, storage, deduplication and notifications are yours to build and run.

With Mentio: Slack, Telegram, email, webhooks and MCP, set up from the dashboard or the API.

### Stars become sentiment

Four and five stars read positive, three neutral, one and two negative. Every review counts as relevant, since you chose the app, and the judge still tags what it is about.

### Intent, not just keywords

### Every country you sell in

Up to 20 countries per app, each read on its own with its own look-back. Every review says where it came from and which version it was written on.

For developers

## Three ways in, one API behind them

Everything the dashboard does is an API call. Read App Store mentions from your code, hand them to your agent over MCP, or pipe them through your terminal.

- 1REST, with typed SDKs for TypeScript and Python
- 2An MCP server for Claude, Cursor, Codex and any MCP client
- 3A CLI that watches a feed and pipes it into jq

## App Store monitoring questions

How do I get notified of new App Store reviews?

Connect the app to a keyword in Mentio with its App Store link, then add an alert rule. New reviews are read once a day in each country you chose and sent to Slack, Telegram, email or a webhook, and a rule can take only the one- and two-star ones.

Can I monitor a competitor’s App Store reviews?

Yes. Mentio reads public reviews, so any app works, not only yours, and no store account is needed. Connect it to its own keyword to read its reviews next to yours.

Which countries are covered?

Any App Store country. Pick up to 20 per app; each is read on its own, and every review says which country it came from.

How much does App Store review monitoring cost?

Connecting an app reads back its newest 100 reviews of the last 30 days in each country, free. After that every new review is a mention at $0.008, and the keyword costs $5 a month like any other.

Does Mentio show the developer’s reply?

Yes, as it stood when the review was read, with the date it was written, next to the review’s stars, text and app version.

One keyword, every platform

## App Store is one of 16 platforms in the same feed

Add a keyword once and choose where it listens. Every platform is scored the same way and reaches the same alerts, API and agent.
